The Platinum Reserve is an exclusive solera-matured rum from two barrels, a 40-year-old and a 21-year-old rum are represented.
Matured in a European barrel cellar, bottled with a circulation of only 6,000 bottles worldwide.
Aroma: pleasant aromas of strong licorice and brown cane sugar, then tropical fruits, especially banana, plus fresh herbs - clear mint
Taste: now the ripe fruit, with some licorice and spicy oak again - over all old leather and herbs
Finish: long finish - very ripe bananas, again the oak and herbs, behind soft honey
