Departure: in the finish easy peat smoke and the earthy soil of a warehouse - above all herbs, marzipan and grapes

Ein Whisky aus einer anderen Zeit. Ein Whisky wie ein Porsche 356, der sich auf´s wesentliche konzentriert und das sehr konkret, potent und mit einer zeitlosen Eleganz und Harmonie die durch nicht gestört wird und die ich jeden modernen 911er vorziehen würde. Diesen Whisky macht das Weglassen aller dieser modernen und überflüssigen Attribute aus. Ein Whisky der sich fast ausschließlich auf den Spirit bezieht und der nur ganz dezent die Merkmale einer Faßreifung zeigt. Ein sehr klassischer Whisky und ich bin sehr froh das es so etwas noch gibt.
