With the Black Grouse began the story of the smoky and peaty version of the popular Blended Scotch The Famous Grouse.
With the Alpha Edition, this smoky-peaty version is the icing on the cake!

Significantly older and more mature malt whiskeys are used for this bottling.

Aroma: warm wood fire and clearly roasted flavors of bread and roasted almonds
Taste: slightly fruity at first, then strong licorice and burning wood fire, with peat smoke and herbs
Finish: long finish with spicy tones, in addition to the peat smoke
