Profile: What Makes Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition Special
Alongside the Stout Edition Jameson presents the IPA Edition: classically triple distilled and matured in oak casks, this bottling additionally matured in former IPA beer casks. The casks come from a collaboration with Franciscan Well Brewery: the brewery filled Jameson casks with IPA and sent them back to the distillery, where they were filled with Jameson again. The result is a light, citrusy whiskey with a touch of hops.
Tasting Notes: What Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition Tastes Like
- Nose: Fresh juicy grapefruit and lime, plus freshly cut vanilla pods and burnt almonds; honey, fudge and hops
- Palate: Soft and oily with distinct notes of ripe walnuts and dried dates – a fresh lemon note above all; coconut macaroons and apple
- Finish: Malty in the finish with tones of white pepper and green apples; cooked apple

Ebenfalls ein Hammer Whiskey von Jameson. Etwas weicher im Abgang als der Black Barrell. Der Favorit von meiner Frau, die vorher nie Whiskey drank.
Ebenfalls günstiger als in Irland.
