Balvenie Peat Week 14 Year Old 48.3% vol. 0,7l
Since 2002, the Scottish Speyside distillery Balvenie distils their whiskey with 100% beaten barley for a week every year!
This is the second bottling of a 14-year-old peated Balvenie, distilled in 2003.
Aroma: roasted oak and spicy heather, then aromas of fresh waffles with maple syrup and coffee - in the background light fruity aromas of flambéed oranges
Taste: distinctly roasted notes, butterscotch and apricots - then spicier with notes of cedar and barley malt
Finish: earthy notes and noticeable peat on the finish, paired with mild honey
