Tasting Notes Glenfarclas 25 years:
Aroma: fresh herbs at the beginning, clearly menthol, followed by sweet sherry aromas and dark fruits
Taste: intense sherry and creamy malt, with notes of fresh bread and ginger - nuts and chocolate behind
Finish: incredibly long finish with complex notes of cocoa, spicy oak and some smoke
Tasting Notes Glenfarclas 40 years:
A wonderfully balanced malt, on the nose light aromas of walnuts and chocolate-coated raisins.
Sweet in taste, like pieces of orange dipped in chocolate, then brown sugar burnt on the palate.
A dry finish with lots of tannin and strong, dark cocoa beans

Ein sehr leckerer Whisky mit anhaltenden angenehmen Abgang. Ein überragendes Preis- Leistungsverhälnis und somit jeden Euro wert. Aber im Vergleich mit anderen 25- jährigen kann man doch nur 4 Punkte vergeben.

Ich muss vorwegschicken, das ich Glenfarclas Fan bin. Der 1990er ist bis jetzt einer der Besten, die ich im Glas hatte. Deshalb dieser Kauf. Abwicklung war so wie sie sein soll: unkompliziert, schnell, super verpackt, keine Beanstandungen.
