Winner of the Gold Medal "Quality Award" at the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) Los Angeles 2010

A 12-year old single malt whiskey from one of the northernmost Scottish Highland distilleries - unfortunately the name is not mentioned.
Namesake for the Highland Queen bottlings is Mary Queen of Scots, the Scottish queen from 1561 to 1567.

A fine and pleasantly soft single malt whiskey with floral notes and a pronounced finish.

Aroma: ripe apples and pears, with floral aromas of fruit blossoms and herbs - behind it a light sweetness
Taste: soft and balanced in the taste - again the fruits, now nutty notes - the spicy notes become stronger - in the background a little honey
Finish: long and soft on the finish - fruits and nuts are present
