After maturing for four to five years in American white oak barrels, this single malt whiskey received a 26-month finish in former Madeira wine barrels.
Aroma: sweet aromas of beeswax and licorice, plus fresh herbs, especially chamomile - then cedar and ripe pineapple
Taste: soft and creamy with notes of honey and vanilla - then spicier with some oak
Finish: light notes of roasted wood, again the honey, now dry orange peel and laurel
