Today The Tyrconnell is produced by the Irish distillery Cooley.
The brand belonged to the Irish family AA Watt, whose company name appears proud again on today's bottlings, Cooley has brought the name for this whiskey to life again.
The racehorse pictured on the label is the famous namesake for the whiskey that was once owned by the Watt family.
