The peat content of the malted barley is 20ppm, for storage only exBourbon barrels were used.
By the way, the word Torfa is an old Nordic word and means nothing but peat!
Aroma: sweet, slightly smoky aromas, then fruity notes of lime and apricot - in the background a hint of ginger and black pepper
Taste: sweet and smoky, slightly salty notes - lots of fruit, especially pineapple, melon and baked apple - a touch of heather honey and cigar - strong-smoky character
Finish: harmonious with a very nice balance between smoky-salty and fruity notes
