SPEY Fumare
This single malt whiskey was distilled with barbecued malted barley, resulting in a sumptuously spicy single malt whiskey with an elegant smoky note.
Aroma: Fresh herbs are immediately present - especially marjoram and chervil, plus fresh fennel and coriander - above all lies a sweet smoke flavor and malt
Taste: Creamy mouthfeel - clearly roasted aromas of nuts and spicy oak, again the herbs - then slightly sweeter with notes of butterscotch and cream
Departure: long and spicy on the finish - the herbs remain present, the light smoke now comes to the fore
Edition: 18,000 bottles with single numbering
