Two Hogsheads selected the independent bottler Signatory for this bottling of a 10-year-old Strathisla from the Speyside in Scotland.
Distilled on September 13, 2007, barrels # 800037 and # 800048 matured over ten years and eight months, then the barrels were married and bottled in the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Aroma: light and soft in the aroma with clearly vanilla, barley and malt - behind it toffee and slightly fruity aromas of ripe fruit
Taste: again the fruit and the vanilla - then more mazige tones and citrus fruits - some oak
Finish: medium finish with balanced notes of toffee, fruit and oak
