Originally bottled in 2016 for the travel retail market, this heavily peated single malt whisky matured exclusively in French oak barrels from the Western Cognac region.
Nose: clearly smoke and sweet peach flavors, with ripe plums and some oak
Taste: roasted almonds, cinnamon and ginger - with smoky notes of a BBQ, smoked ham and cooked pears - in the background ripe red apples, oranges and vanilla
Finish: old leather, vanilla and citrus fruits

Eine angenehm stark rauchige Variation, die durch die Lagerung in Cognac-Fässern fruchtige Noten erhielt. Birne ist zu erahnen, Zitrone zu schmecken. Komplexe Früchte und herrliches Raucharoma, beides hält lange an.
