For nine years, this single malt whiskey matured in first-filled ex-wine barrels from Bordeaux.
Bottled in barrel strength without cold filtration and without dyes.

Aroma: soft caramel, honey and clearly the red wine barrel influence, in addition ripe lemons and slightly spicy aromas
Taste: strong notes of toffee, honey again, then sweet grapes and chilli-spiced dark chocolate
Finish: long finish with an elegant balance of fruity sweetness and light spiciness
