Springbank's 2018-year-old 21-year-old bottler is an elegant Vatting made from 70% exRum barrels and 30% exBourbon casks.
Aroma: clearly heather and freshly mowed grass, then honey, pear and fresh wood shavings - in the background butter and cheesecake, fresh cream and biscuits
Taste: gentle and elegant with strong notes of butterscotch and vanilla, sugar cane and molasses from the barrels - fruity with notes of ripe apricots, peaches and paprika
Departure: toffee apples, raisins and wheat biscuits, followed by pepper, almonds and apricot jam - over all soft wood smoke
