This single malt whiskey matured for ten years from Glentaucher's rather unknown Scottish Speyside distillery in a former Sherry Butt, distilled in March 2007, bottled by Douglas Laing in May 2017 in the Provenance series.
Aroma: intense, sweet flavors of flamed oranges, then the scent of freshly polished oak and cinnamon
Taste: full-bodied, rich in taste with pronounced ginger and lemon peel - followed by mocha notes and plenty of sherry
Finish: wonderfully sherry-rich - lots of fruit and a pleasant spiciness
