A fruity glenrothes from a hogshead, distilled in 1996, matured the single malt whiskey over 21 years before Wemyss bottled the barrel in 2017 at 342 bottles.
Aroma: fresh apple pie and crunchy pastries with clove spice, nutmeg and cinnamon, soft caramel and roasted nuts
Taste: fruity notes, ranging from baked apple to blackcurrant and fruit gums, then again the nuts, clearly cashew, walnut and Brazil nut
