Highland Park celebrates the creation and development of the loudspeaker!
For this bottling 481 barrels were selected and wedded together. All distilled in 1999 (more precisely on 30 March, 29 April, 10, 17 and 31 August, and on 7 September).
Matured in first-fill exBourbon barrels and hogsheads.
Aroma: light peat smoke and a lot of ripe fruit - especially mango and pineapple, behind it a bit spicy cedar wood
Taste: soft, warm mouthfeel with notes of sweet citrus fruits, with creamy vanilla - a light smoky note above all
Departure: long on the finish - warming and pleasantly soft, again the fruits and the creamy vanilla - the peat is also back
