For this bottling Edradour chose an exSherry Cask, distilled in 2009 and three exBourbon Casks, also distilled in 2009, with the peated version of Edradour (Ballechin).
The Casks were married to each other and bottled as an 8-year cuvée.
Nose: slightly smoky aromas, with spicy notes of cloves and Canehl - dark chocolate
Taste: creamy with clearly malty notes, some orange and raisins - smoky notes behind, some fruit and some ginger
Finish: a long finish - with fruity notes, smoke and cocoa powder
