The distillery's flagship Bruichladdich pays homage to the classic style of the Islay distillery founded in 1881.
Scottish barley, a particularly slow distillation and ripening in individually selected oak barrels in the warehouse on the coast of Lochindaal make this single malt to a harmonious and lively whiskey.

Aroma: a brilliant bouquet of sweet malted sugar with hints of mint and the scent of fresh cut wildflowers like buttercups, daisies, myrtle, cowslip and cherry blossom - plus spray and fragrant, then fruity aromas of citrus sweets, honey, tangerine and butter caramel
Taste: wonderfully balanced between oak and malt tones, perfectly combined with ripe fruit, brown sugar and sweet malt
Departure: warming finish with lots of fruit, oak and malt
