Aged just over 12 years, this single malt whiskey matured in the former Armagnac barrel number 16564 - then Teeling bottled the cask in September 2017.
Aroma: clearly the influence of the brandy barrel - ripe nectarines and peaches, mild honey and soft vanilla - in the background slightly spicy aromas
Taste: creamy in the taste with notes of ripe, exotic fruits and malt - again the vanilla, paired with spicy oak tones
Finish: long and fruity on the finish with an elegant sweetness - slightly spicy notes
