Glenfarclas 2006/2018 Oloroso Sherry casks 46% vol. 0,7l
This bottling was aged for 12 years in former Spanish Oloroso sherry casks before being bottled in 2018.
Elegant and balanced, with the finest sherry notes and lots of fruit.
Aroma: clearly the sherry barrel influence with pronounced aromas of juicy raisins and dark prunes, as well as vanilla and mild honey, nuts and spicy notes
Taste: again the dark fruits, with cocoa and dark chocolate almonds, spicy notes of Canel, cardamom and cinnamon above all
Finish: a long finish - the fruits take a back seat - now more and more seasoning and chocolate

Kaufe ihn kein zweites Mal...
Haben zu dritt eine Flasche in einem Zeitraum von 14 Tagen (Urlaub) immer mal wieder probiert. Einhellige Meinung: weder besondere Sherrynote noch sonst irgendwie erwähnenswerte geschmackliche Besonderheiten. Schade, die Flasche kam Viertel voll wieder mit nach Hause und wird irgendwann gemixt werden.
