The Botucal Planas replaces the Blanco Reserve since summer 2017.
The Planas is a premium rum that is a blend of different distillates - distilled in the classic pot still and the column still - in this way light to heavy distillates are brought together very harmoniously.
Add to this the fact that in addition to the molasses and Virgin Sugar Cane is used as a raw material for distillation.
Nose: sweet and fruity with aromas of ripe coconut and roasted coffee beans
Taste: very soft, almost creamy in taste with hints of tropical fruits and cocoa
Finish: soft with a pleasantly restrained sweetness

Fruchtiger Rum, im Charakter einem weißen Rhum Agricole schon ähnlich. Sehr schön für Cocktails. Ich habe damit meinen Johannisbeerlikör angesetzt, das Ergebnis ist fantastisch.
