For 25 long years, this Bruichladdich matured in a Refill Hogshead, distilled in May 1991, bottled in June 2016 to only 197 bottles.
Aroma: initially sweet and malty, then fruity with aromas of sweet vanilla - pleasantly soft with hints of spiced fruit salad
Taste: velvety-sweet - more and more of the fruity notes, above all a slight spiciness
Finish: long and fruity on the finish - then tones of lemon drops
