Spring 10 Year Old Local Barley 57.3% vol. 0,7l

For the third bottling of the Local Barley range, Springbank used Belgravia-grade barley from West Backs Farm on the Kintyre peninsula.
Distilled in June 2007, the single malt whiskey matured over ten years until November 2017, when Springbank filled the barrels with 9,000 bottles.

Aroma: various aromas rise into the nose - vanilla ice cream with butterscotch sauce, pecan nut cake and creme caramel - creamy biscuits, chocolate and honey behind
Taste: soft and velvety in the taste - floral notes of lemon grass, with lemon tea, sweet almonds and marzipan - behind it some peat
Departure: on the finish soft, earthy notes with salted caramel and a fresh spice of freshly baked cinnamon cake with honey
