Distilled in 2006, this single-malt whiskey from the Loch Lomond distillery matured for over 11 years in an exBourbon hogshead, then Wemyss filled the barrel in 2017 with just 387 bottles.
Aroma: rich smoke and waxy aromas - smoked ham and raclette cheese, then herbal notes of jasmine tea, white wine and sugar beet
Taste: oily body, sweet and salty - pickled herring on fresh bread, melted butter with lots of peat
Finish: soft smoke with a little cayenne pepper
