The non-peated version is distilled without pested malt, aged in exBourbon American oak barrels, this is truly an unusual Caol Ila.
Aroma: warming and soft with aromas of beeswax, oranges and tangerines - in addition soft malt bread, behind ripe, red apples
Taste: sweet at first, soft in the taste - clearly fondant, cocoa and liquorice - spicy notes and grains behind
Finish: long and warming on the finish - charred wood and burnt fruits - smoke and spices
