Distilled in December 1995, this single malt whisky first matured in exBourbon Hogsheads, in February 2005 the barrels were transferred to fresh Oloroso sherry butts and stored for another 12 years.
In 2017, three of these barrels were filled to 2,027 bottles.
Nose: fresh aromas of ripe apples, some coconut, then nutty aromas of cane sugar and fruits, especially apricots and raisins
Taste: soft mouthfeel - again the apples and the coconut, then roasted almonds, apricots and raisins, behind them dark chocolate
Finish: long, warm finish
