Aroma: complex aromas, a light sweetness of sherry, with some oak
Taste: spicy notes, then sweet Demerara sugar - behind the fruity sherry tones come to light
Departure: surprisingly mild - warming, with a slight smoky note

Eine schreckliche Abfüllung, endlich ein Glenfarclas, der nicht verdünnt ist, aber auch der Alkohol nützt und hilft hier nichts. Es fehlt jeglicher Charakter, jegliche Ausgewogenheit, er ist einfach nur brachial, bringt aber nichts mit, das mich faszinieren würde. Die Originalverkostungsnotizen geben ein anderes Bild, wir haben uns echt bemüht, anhand dieser Beschreibung dem Malt etwas ähnliches entlocken zu können, aber wir haben es leider nicht geschafft. Leider kein guter Kauf.

Ich hab "Ihn" vorher atmen lassen und dann mit guten Freunden gekostet.
Trotz der Prozente hat auch meine Frau daran teilgenommen .Die leichte Sherry Note war`s dann ,die überzeugte.
Ist unser Geschmack ! Sicher werden wir zu gegebenen Anlaß auf Glenfarclas zurück kommen.
