Powers 12 years John's Lane release comes from the distillery Midleton, Ireland.
This is the highly successful attempt of the distillery Midleton to reproduce the whiskey from the original distillery John's Lane.

The whiskey matured in American oak barrels and in Spanish sherry casks.

Aroma: freshly beaten oak, with aromas of orange, barley and leather
Taste: very soft and round, with plenty of vanilla, roasted coffee and dark chocolate - plus dark, ripe fruits, especially raisins and blackcurrants - slightly spicy
Departure: lots of vanilla and light spicy notes, a bit fruity

The characterful and wonderfully complex whiskey is the favorite of the Irish.
