Made from the lemon zest of the lemon variety Femminello from the small gardens of Vigliano near Sorrento on Capri.
For the Limoncello di Capri, only the most aromatic, outer yellow layer of the fruit is used - they are macerated for 48 hours in alcohol so that the natural aromas and essential oils can be absorbed by the alcohol.
Then the extract is filtered, refined with fine sugar and reduced with fresh Capri water.
Done is the Lomoncello di Capri with the exceptional kutzen ingredients list and the great aroma!
