The small Finnish distillery Teerenpeli first ripened this single malt whiskey in former bourbon barrels, then in ex-port wine barrels from Portugal.
Aroma: intense aromas of dark plums and dates, as well as winter spices such as cinnamon and cardamom - in the background a slight sweetness of cane sugar
Taste: soft and elegant in the taste with rich fruity notes, which reveal the influence of Port wine, with nutty notes and distinct malt
Departure: long, soft finish, again the port wine - in the background spicy oak
