Springbank's second bottling of a 12-year-old single malt whiskey in 2017 - of course in barrel size and, as always, without dyes and without cold filtration.

Aroma: clearly pine nuts and fresh chestnuts, followed by the typical Springbank flavors, some iodine and malt with a delicate touch of peat
Taste: Rich in flavor with a nice balance of lemon jam on toast and caramelized, roasted marshmallows - vanilla and ground pepper behind
Departure: delicate on the finish with a soft salt note, with honey marinated ham

Meine Favorit bei den Cask strength Abfüllungen. Toll in der Nase und eine Wucht im Mund. Rund, und vielschichtig. Das Zusammenspiel von ExBourbon- und Sherryfass bringt eine tolle Komplexität mit dem typischen leicht salzigen und rauchigen Geschmack der Distillery.
