Product information "Deanston 10 Year Old Pedro Ximénez finish 57.5% vol. 0,7l"
For eight years, this Deanston distilled in June 2006 matured in exBourbon barrels, then the single malt whiskey received an additional maturation for another two years in former Spanish Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
5,160 bottles were filled.

Aroma: at the beginning clearly strong honey with aromas of ripe, tart blood oranges, behind a strong sherry sweetness and spicy hints of anise and cloves
Taste: full-bodied and strong in the taste, again the sherry, to notes of thick maple syrup and strong toffee - above all spicy notes, some pepper and fresh ginger root
Finish: a long finish - the spicy notes are now in the foreground, behind them again the oranges, some chocolate

Der Whisky ist der Wahnsinn...der Preis ist hier zwar für einen 10 Jährigen viel zu hoch, aber man bekommt dafür auch einen tollen Whisky...absolute Kaufempfehlung.
