Ardbeg's Kelpie is a powerful single malt whiskey with lots of smoke and peat-aged in exBourbon barrels and Russian oak barrels from the Caucasian Republic of Adygea.

Aroma: intense on the nose, strong aromas of oily peat, dark chocolate and smoked fish, with hints of seagrass and wild herbs - some black pepper - with water flavors of creamy coffee, as well as smoky fudge and coconut, as well as pine
Taste: peppery mouthfeel with rich notes of soft toffee, Turkish coffee and smoked ham, with intense notes of dark chocolate - then some peach, hickory oak, clove oil and black olives
