Italy's first whiskey distillery is located in South Tyrol on the eponymous river Puni in Bolzano - since 2012, single malt whiskey has been produced here.
The Nova matured for three years in American and European oak barrels.
Aroma: soft aromas of honey and vanilla with grilled banana and sweet, old balsamic
Taste: round and balanced with a strong, sweet maltiness, again the bananas - then followed by spicy oak notes
Finish: fruity-sweet finish - the oak is now more present
