Signatory selected cask #2495 for this bottling - distilled on April 10, 1992 in the Jura distillery on the Scottish island of Jura of the same name.
After more than 29 years of aging, the cask became part of the Cask Strength Collection on April 20, 2021 in cask strength with an alcohol content of 52.2%vol. Filled to just 123 bottles.
Nose: Warm pastries and aromas of porridge with plums - over all the seaweed and salty sea air
Taste: Sweet at the beginning with notes of strawberries with cream and vanilla, too roasted nuts - then a lot of smoke develops
Finish: long finish, again the pastry with spicy tones of cardamom and aniseed - accompanied by lots of smoke and sea air
