A highlander in barrel strength!
Distilled on July 5, 1991, this single malt whiskey matured for over 26 years in a former sherry cask before Signatory bottled the cask on November 30, 2017 at only 599 bottles.

Aroma: clearly the sherry influence with aromas of raisins and honey, plus fresh bread and spicy notes reminiscent of rum
Taste: fresh strawberries and peaches in an exotic combination with roasted peanuts and chocolate
Finish: long finish with sweet notes and dark cherry, some cigar smoke
