Caol Ila six Year Old Feis Ile 2017 Douglas Laing's provenance 50.6% vol. 0,7l
Douglas Laing's Islay Festival 2017 Feis Ile is a very young Caol Ila at the age of six - matured in a single Refill Hogshead.
Aroma: at the beginning a powerful punch "Islay", then a salty spice and a lot of sweet smoke
Taste: initially sweet with clearly peat and malted barley, followed by earthy notes, smoked ham and burned straw
Finish: unbelievably long finish with notes of charred oak and dark toffee - more and more smoky peat
Distilled: November 2010
Bottled: April 2017
