Tormore 2002/2017 Cote Rotie Wood Finish Gordon & MacPhail Private Coll. 45% vol. 0,7l
Gordon & MacPhail selected over 12-year-old barrels of the Tormore distillery for this bottling, and ripened the single malt whiskey of these barrels for a second maturation over 20 months in exCote Rotie wine barrels from the French Rhone Valley.
Aroma: sweet and floral with distinct aromas of blackcurrants, plus fresh citrus fruits
Taste: soft and pleasantly sweet, again the currants, followed by green apples and soft milk chocolate - spicy notes of ripe citrus fruits in the background
Finish: long finish with a balanced sweetness - again the fruits and the chocolate
Distilled: 03.07.2002
Bottled: March 2017
Circulation: 4,000 bottles
