Product information "Austrian Empire Navy Rum Reserva 1863 40% vol. 0,7l"
The name inevitably suggests that this rum comes from Austria.
But far from it, the Albert Michler distillery is based in the British Bristol, the rum comes from the Dominican Republic.
In 1863, Albert Michler was purveyor to the Austrian-Hungarian court and one of the first to publicize rum from the Caribbean in Europe.

Nose: strong, sweet aromas, with lots of spice from the oak barrels, with vanilla and roasted aromas behind
Taste: soft and creamy in the taste with an elegant sherry sweetness, again the vanilla and then with brown sugar fried bananas
Finish: long, soft finish

Der Rum hat eine angenehme Restsüße und schöne Vanillearomen. Die Verpackung ist ansprechend und Wertigkeit.

Alles im allen bin ich sehr zufrieden von der Bestellung bis zur Lieferung.
Eine kleine Sache hätte ich da dann noch : laut Aussage auf der Internetseite wird die Ware noch am selden Tag versand wenn man vor 10 Uhr bestellt und bezahlt. Ich hatte früh bestellt und mit Paypal bezahlt und bekamm auch gleich eine Bestätigung nur die Ware wurde nicht verschickt! ( Ich brauchte Sie bis Samstag- und hatte am Mittwoch bestellt- sie kamm dann aber noch pünklich)
