Product information "Glenfarclas 18 Year Old 43% vol. 1.0L"
The 18-year-old from Glenfarclas was introduced to the travel retail trade - matured in former Spanish sherry casks.

Aroma: sweet honey and elegant aromas of fresh vanilla, followed by citrus fruits and soft roasted aromas of various nuts
Taste: again the honey and the citrus fruits - then clearly caramel and toffee with nutty notes - figs and dates - in the background fresh fruit and dark plums
Finish: long and soft on the finish

Für mich eine herbe Enttäuschung. Ich weiß nicht, was Glenfarclas da abgefüllt hat, aber der war für einen 18-jährigen viel zu "sprittig", für nur 43 % viel zu viel Schärfe. Das war nix.

Ein sehr guter Whisky! Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist für einen Einsteiger der einen guten Tropfen genießen möchte wirklich sehr gut! Nur zu Empfehlen!

Für unter 50 Euro einen 18 Jahre alten Whisky zu bekommen ist schon selten genug und er schmeckt auch noch! Preis-leistung nicht zu schlagen

Dieser Whisky ist ein sehr gutes Beispiel dafür, dass teuer nicht gleich besser ist. Gut, er mag im Preis/Leistung günstig sein für einen 18 Jährigen. Aber so langweilig und schlicht wie er schmeckt könnte er genau so gut 30 Jahre alt sein und wäre immer noch zu teuer für einen so einfachen Whisky. Ich denke einfach ich bin mit zu hohen Erwartungen an ihn ran gegangen deshalb mein Tipp für alle die sich überlegen ihn zu kaufen: schraubt eure Erwartungen runter.
