Springbank 11 Year Old Local Barley 53.1% vol. 0,7l

For the second bottling of the Local Barley range, Springbank used Bere variety barley from Aros Farm on the Kintyre peninsula.
Distilled in February 2006, the single malt whiskey matured for eleven years until February 2017, when Springbank filled the barrels with 9,000 bottles.

Aroma: elegant aromas of jam and honey, then slightly mineral - freshly baked bread with sweet banana and salty caramel
Taste: the flavors are reflected in the taste - incredibly creamy with a balanced sweetness of marshmallows, vanilla sauce and honey - salty notes of licorice and popcorn behind, some peat
Finish: Long finish with nutty notes, clear walnut and hazelnut, some marzipan

Hi all

My five cents!!! Hello. Not my f...king business, but common. Was 27 bottles and after one minute was sold out...and I can sure you, that person who buy those bottles never drink that whisky and just sell for 150-200 euro or even more. So? One bottle per person, this thing it helps a little bit, especially for persons who loves drink whisky. I´m out.
