This single malt whiskey from the Scottish highland distillery Glenturret matured proudly for 28 years in a Refill Hogshead, before Douglas Laing bottled the cask in December 2015 to only 168 bottles in the exclusive Old Particular series.
Aroma: very nice balance between spicy toffee and a damp warehouse of a distillery
Taste: very soft with clearly milk chocolate and caramel, soft fruits and spicy oak
Finish: medium in the finish with sweet coffee and soft notes of sweet spices
