In 2016, Midleton presented for the first time the Lustau Edition, barrels from nine to 12 years of American and European oak were selected for this bottling and filled for a second ripening in first-fill exOloroso sherry casks of Bodega Lustau and stored for another year.

Aroma: fresh orange peel and toasted almonds, followed by light aromas of cloves and juicy sultanas
Taste: spicy notes of cinnamon with soft milk chocolate and honey - followed by nutty notes and plum compote
Departure: spicy on the finish - again the cinnamon, accompanied by notes of stored apples
