Single-barreled bottling of a 10-year Edradour from Signatory
Distilled on September 21, 2007, this single malt whiskey matured over 10 years in barrel # 320 - even though Signatory does not specify the barrel style, the beautiful dark color leaves on an ex-Sherry barrel - bottled on November 23, 2017.

Aroma: soft, juicy fruit cake - reminiscent of the classic, British Christmas cake - with ginger bread
Taste: Raisins covered in chocolate, roasted coffee beans and milk coffee behind - slightly mineral notes in the background
Departure: soft and sweet and spicy on the finish, with noticeable barley sugar and spicy oak

Herrlich vollmundig und kräftig. Man merkt, dass man keine 20 Jahre braucht, sondern einfach nur ein gutes frisches Fass und dann reichen auch 10 Jahre für einen tollen Tropfen. Für 5 Sterne müsste es allerdings noch Cask-strengh sein.
