10 years ago, Compass Box presented the first Spice Tree bottling - since then, this bottling has been a permanent part of Compass Box's exclusive whiskeys.
With the Spice Tree Extravaganza Compass Box celebrates this anniversary, for this limited edition significantly older whiskeys and more sherry barrel-mounted whiskeys were used than in the standard filling of the Spice Tree.
This exclusive blended malt Scotch whiskey includes 60% of the 60% Clynelish distillery, 20% of the Dailuaine distillery and 20% of the Teaninich distillery.
After Vatting, the whiskey was aged for another 4.5 years in selected oak barrels.
Aroma: decadent and full in the nose with distinct aromas of sherry and dark berries, with a slight sweetness like in a candy store
Taste: juicy red fruits, with brown cane sugar and spicy notes of ginger and cloves
Finish: incredibly long on the finish - very spicy with light sherry tones
Circulation: 12,240 bottles

Als wenn dir ein Engel auf die Zunge pisst... einfach ein sehr guter, komplexer, vielschichtiger Whisky. An einem Glas kann man sich problemlos eine Stunde und mehr festhalten. Sehr schade, dass er nicht mehr hergestellt wird.
