The campaign of Compass Box against existing regulations and regulations continues.
With this bottling John Glaser, founder and owner of Compass Box, draws attention to the fact and his desire for more transparency on the labels that only the most recent used whiskey in a bottling is relevant to the age on the label of the bottling, a detailed list the shares and the ages of the whiskeys used is prohibited.

For example, Compass Box presents the 3 Year Old Deluxe - officially a three-year old whiskey that contains only 1% of a whiskey with a later of three years!

On the back label is the - according to the current regulations - allowed representation of the composition:

1% of a three-year whiskey produced near Brora (Clynelish)
90% of a whiskey from the same distillery, where you can not specify the age
9% of a whiskey from the island of Skye (Talisker)

Aroma: intense vanilla notes, as well as fruity aromas like in an orchard
Taste: creamy and soft, baked fruits, again the vanilla - in the background a little peat
Finish: a long, soft finish - the fruits and the peat harmonize beautifully with each other
