The 18-year old single malt whiskey from the bulkhead Speyside distillery Aultmore was launched in 2015 in John Dewar's & Sons Last Great Malts series.
Aroma: roasted cereals at the beginning, then a mix of different fruits, especially peach, with vanilla
Taste:
Palate: again the fruits, in addition to fresh orange blossoms - above all fresh herbs - in the background light notes of white wine
Departure: pleasantly light on the finish with malty notes, sultanas and citrus fruits
