What a single grain whiskey!
An exceptional, 27-year-old Invergordon from an exSherry Butt, distilled in 1988 and 2016 by Wemyss and bottled at 681 bottles.

Aroma: warm, baked banana with treacle syrup and macaroons - followed by licorice and honey toast, in the background a vase of fresh late summer flowers
Taste: ripe papaya, ginger and cedar, followed by spicy notes of rose pepper and red pepper, with roasted nuts, juicy marmalade and pudding
Finish: warming on the finish with toasted notes, thick with a nutty oiliness
